MND GALA 2019

Following the death of their father in 2015, who suffered from Motor Neurone Disease, Neil and Carl Rutherford produced their second Gala in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association and MND Research to find a cure for the disease.

They were delighted that the evening raised an amazing £9,222 on the night, with an anonymous donor adding to make the total £10,000. With the previous gala in 2016, the total raised over the two concerts is almost £20,000.

With songs from everyones favourite shows and films, and theatrical tales from our surprise guest hosts and West End stars, this 2019 Gala was as spectacular as the last, conducted by Neil and Simon Beck, and hosted by Neil, Carl and SARAH MOYLE.  The Gala starred leading performers from West End musicals including ALICE FEARN (Wicked, Shrek, Oliver), DEAN JOHN-WILSON (Disney's Aladdin, The King and I), OLIVER SAVILE (Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Company), JAMES HUME (Les Miserables, Mary Poppins),  plus other guests. A 36 piece professional orchestra accompanied the soloists together with a 40 piece choir made up of students and graduates from MOUNTVIEW.
