NEIL RUTHERFORD
is an internationally acclaimed and award winning director, casting director, writer, composer and teacher, having worked for over 30 years in professional theatre in London, UK, Europe, America and Australia.

​

After 15 years as a successful actor in the West End, Neil gave up performing in 2000 and joined the English National Opera Production Department.

In 2002 he joined the Ambassador Theatre Group as Production Associate and then as Head of Casting. Ten years later he left ATG to pursue his own projects, working predominantly in Australia and the UK and in true polymath style, he continues to wear a number of hats directing, casting, writing and composing as well as proudly working for internationally renowned drama school MOUNTVIEW as their Professional Development

and Industry Liaison Manager.
